Michael Anckaert

I've been writing software for over two decades — across C++, Clojure, Python, TypeScript, and most of what came in between. I've spent the last several years building and running data and AI systems at Dewaele, an independent Belgian real estate group where I'm a partner and Head of Data & IT.

Sinax is the entity I use for independent advisory work. It exists because the technical leaders I respect most have always operated this way: keeping a real seat at a real company, doing selective advisory work on the side, and writing publicly about what they learn from both.

I write Strategy & Stack to think through what I'm seeing in production. The publication is read by operators, builders, and the strategists who work with them. If the work I do at Dewaele or for advisory clients shows up there, it's anonymized — but the arguments are real.
